The Restaurant Ambassador serves as the face of the Chinese restaurant, providing a warm welcome and ensuring guests enjoy a refined and memorable dining experience. Responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating with service staff, and maintaining excellent guest relations in line with Sofitel's standards of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet all guests in a friendly, professional, and elegant manner.
Assist guests with seating arrangements, reservations, and special requests.
Maintain updated knowledge of the restaurant menu, daily specials, and promotions.
Build rapport with guests to ensure personalized and memorable service.
Handle guest inquiries, comments, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth dining operations.
Maintain a tidy and well-presented reception and dining area.
Support marketing or guest engagement activities as required by management.
Uphold Sofitel brand standards and demonstrate the spirit of "Art de Vivre"in all interactions.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar guest relations or hostess role, preferably in a 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant.
Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin; knowledge of Cantonese is an advantage.
Pleasant personality, polished grooming, and strong interpersonal skills.
Confident, service-oriented, and able to handle VIP guests with discretion.
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
