We are looking for a trustworthy and customer-focused
Restaurant Cashiers
to join our team across two restaurants and one food stall in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will handle all front-counter transactions efficiently, maintain daily cash flow records, and support the outlet team in delivering excellent customer service. You will also assist with basic administrative and stock-related tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
Handle all cash, card, and e-wallet transactions with integrity and accuracy.
Ensure proper opening and closing of the cashier counter, including balancing of daily sales.
Prepare daily sales reports and submit to Account Manager or supervisor.
Customer Service
Greet customers warmly and professionally at the counter.
Answer basic customer enquiries and support the service team during peak hours.
Handle payment disputes, refunds, or void transactions as per company procedures.
Record Keeping & Support
Ensure all receipts, invoices, and transaction records are properly organized.
Assist in basic daily stock-taking and monitor cash float levels.
Coordinate with kitchen or service staff to support smooth outlet operations.
Compliance & Cleanliness
Follow cash handling SOPs and company policies at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the cashier counter and surrounding area.
Report any discrepancies or issues immediately to the outlet supervisor or management.
Requirements:
SPM or equivalent qualification; additional training in retail or accounting is a plus.
1-2 years' experience as a cashier, preferably in F&B or retail.
Basic knowledge of POS systems and digital payment platforms.
Responsible, honest, and good with numbers.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English.
Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
