Overview: The Restaurant Manager performs and directs overall store management. Responsible for inventory, money control systems, food safety, product preparation, cleanliness, safety and security of the restaurant. In charge of recruiting, training and supervises the staff training program. May contact prospective customers to promote sales. Responsible for local marketing initiatives and may contact prospective customer to promote sales. Exceptional customer service and leadership quality is a major component of this position. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Plan and post staff work schedules \xc2\xb7 Maintains business records as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual \xc2\xb7 Analyzes business records to increase sales \xc2\xb7 Communicates changes of food preparations formulas, standards, etc. to staff \xc2\xb7 Supports local and national marketing initiatives \xc2\xb7 Ensures that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed \xc2\xb7 Recruits, rewards and manage staff as needed \xc2\xb7 Identifies and contacts prospective customers to promote sales.
