Overview: The Restaurant Manager performs and directs overall store management. Responsible for inventory, money control systems, food safety, product preparation, cleanliness, safety and security of the restaurant. In charge of recruiting, training and supervises the staff training program. May contact prospective customers to promote sales. Responsible for local marketing initiatives and may contact prospective customer to promote sales. Exceptional customer service and leadership quality is a major component of this position. Key Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and post staff work schedules \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintains business records as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyzes business records to increase sales \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicates changes of food preparations formulas, standards, etc. to staff \xe2\x80\xa2 Supports local and national marketing initiatives \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed \xe2\x80\xa2 Recruits, rewards and manage staff as needed \xe2\x80\xa2 Identifies and contacts prospective customers to promote sales. Plans special events and promotions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Completes online coursework on the University of SUBWAY as directed. Job Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Diploma or equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 supervisory experience in quick service restaurant operations as a manager level \xe2\x80\xa2 Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work on shift rotation, weekends and public holidays \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to stand for long hours at a time and work in a fast-paced environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of people \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible, trustworthy and highly integrity \xe2\x80\xa2 Good written communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Problem solving skills and result oriented
