We are a successful British restaurant concept (Halal friendly) looking to hire Restaurant Server. Your attitude, personality, punctuality and willingness to learn new things is the most important thing we are looking for! Your role will be to support our front of house operations to ensure excellent customer dining experiences and smooth service operations. Responsibilities and Duties
- Supporting the Supervisor with tasks and covering the outlet in their absence
- Greeting and welcoming customers
- Taking orders and explaining the menu to customers
- Up-selling and promoting menu items
- Serving food dishes and drinks to customers
- Preparing drinks to order
- Providing excellent, friendly customer service, even in challenging situations
- Making sure customers have the best dining experience and come back
- Keeping the restaurant clean and tidy at all times
- Following restaurant SOP\'s and any tasks set out by management
- Ideally have a minimum of 1 year experience of working in restaurants/cafes
- Previous customer service experience
- Enjoys working as part of a team and helping others to complete tasks
- Passionate about serving customers and giving them the best possible experience
- Willing to work hard and is honest and polite at all times
- Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work well with others
- Is punctual and reliable in attendance
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Well groomed and good personal hygiene
- Willingness to work long hours, split-shifts, weekends and some public holidays
- Looking to develop their career with an exciting new restaurant concept
- Ability to converse in basic English and Bahasa Melayu
- Able to work immediately
- Applicants must be local Malaysian citizens
- Fresh diploma graduates or school leavers are encouraged to apply
