Key Responsibilities
1. Store Operations
Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
Ensure store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and stock arrangement meet company standards
Monitor opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and basic operational controls
2. Sales & Performance
Support the Retail Manager in achieving monthly sales targets and KPIs
Monitor daily sales performance and provide feedback to the team
Assist in planning and executing sales promotions and campaigns
3. Team Supervision & People Management
Supervise retail staff (including part-time staff) and ensure proper duty roster planning
Coach, guide, and motivate staff to improve sales and service performance
Assist in onboarding and basic training for new staff
Support the Retail Manager in handling minor staff issues, attendance, and discipline matters
4. Customer Experience
Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered
Handle customer complaints or escalations professionally and promptly
Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business
5. Inventory & Stock Control
Monitor stock levels and support stock replenishment planning
Assist in stock receiving, stock transfer, and stock count activities
Report stock discrepancies, slow-moving items, or losses to management
6. Reporting & Compliance
Prepare basic reports (sales, attendance, stock, KPI updates) as required
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and retail guidelines
Act as the Retail Manager's representative when the Manager is not on duty
Job Requirements
Minimum SPM/Diploma in Business, Retail Management, or related field
At least 2-3 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Sales-driven, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure
Willing to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays
Proficient in Mandarin, English & Bahasa
