The Retail Executive is responsible for managing and supporting the daily operations of Marvellous Frontier retail outlets to ensure consistent performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This job required frequent travel.
Retail Location : Penang, Ipoh, Kedah, & KL
Key Responsibilities
1. Retail Operations
Oversee the smooth daily operations of assigned outlets, ensuring compliance with Marvellous Frontier's retail SOPs.
Monitor sales performance, manage manpower scheduling, and ensure store readiness at all times.
Support new store setups, renovations, and makeovers according to approved layout and brand standards.
Coordinate with HQ on operational issues, store needs, and improvement plans.
2. Sales & Customer Experience
Drive store sales performance to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Ensure staff deliver excellent customer service and uphold the MF customer experience standards.
Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
Work closely with the Marketing Department to plan, coordinate, and implement promotions, campaigns, and seasonal sales activities effectively.
Ensure all promotional materials, displays, and price changes are correctly executed at the store level.
3. Staff Supervision & Training
Supervise, guide, and motivate retail staff to achieve store goals.
Monitor attendance, grooming, and discipline in line with company policy.
Conduct coaching and on-the-job training for new and existing staff.
Provide feedback on staff performance and assist HR in evaluation processes.
4. Inventory & Stock Management
Monitor inventory movement, stock levels, and replenishment needs.
Coordinate with the warehouse and purchasing team for stock transfers and returns.
Ensure accurate stock handling, labeling, and loss prevention measures.
Conduct stock counts and report discrepancies to management.
5. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily/weekly sales, stock, and operational reports.
Analyze performance data and provide recommendations for improvement.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to support management decisions.
6. Coordination & Support
Liaise with internal departments (HR, Finance, Marketing, and Logistics) to support outlet operations.
Assist in planning and executing new outlet openings, campaigns, and retail projects.
Ensure all health, safety, and regulatory requirements are met at store level.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in a multi-outlet environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Good business sense and customer-oriented mindset.
Proficient in MS Office and POS systems.
Willing to travel and work on weekends or public holidays as required.
