Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated
Retail Sales & Marketing Intern
to join our Sungai Petani team. This role combines hands-on retail experience with digital marketing execution, offering exposure to both in-store sales operations and modern customer engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Sales
Assist customers in-store with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases.
Support store operations including merchandising, product display, and inventory upkeep.
Learn product knowledge (basic golf equipment types, pricing, and features) to guide customers effectively.
Maintain store cleanliness and ensure a welcoming shopping environment.
Marketing & Content
Assist in creating engaging social media content (photos, videos, captions) to showcase products and promotions.
Support local marketing campaigns, events, and promotions to increase brand visibility.
Monitor social media interactions, respond to inquiries, and engage with the online golf community.
Provide input on customer preferences and market feedback to the marketing team.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or related fields.
Passion for sports or interest in golf (prior golf knowledge is a bonus but not required).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Creative mindset with familiarity in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
