? Conduct regular inspections at all branches to assess:
- Cleanliness & tidiness of the store.
- Product arrangement on display racks & new stock under racks or in the storeroom.
- Store environment (lighting, music, scent, cleanliness of fitting rooms, etc.)
? Ensure products are displayed neatly according to category, price, and ongoing promotions, if any.
? Manage store facility issues (lighting, racks, cashier machines, etc.) by reporting to HQ or the maintenance team.
2. Sales Performance Monitoring
? Monitor the sales performance of each branch and prepare regular sales reports.
? Identify underperforming branches and propose strategies to improve sales results.
? Make sales performance comparisons between months, seasons, or branches to identify trends.
? Ensure that the sales targets set by the company are achieved.
3. Staff Management
? Monitor employees' discipline, attendance, and attitude.
? Evaluate staff quality including customer service, product knowledge, and selling skills.
? Prepare staff performance reports for HR/management.
? Identify staff with potential for promotion as well as those requiring further training/coaching.
? Provide necessary coaching sessions when required.
4. Customer Service Quality
? Ensure that every branch provides customer service that is friendly, efficient, and professional.
? Handle serious customer complaints before escalating them to higher management.
? Ensure a consistent shopping experience for customers across all branches.
5. Stock Monitoring & Control
? Conduct stock checks at branches to prevent losses or shortages (due to shoplifting or staff negligence).
? Ensure new stock is received, displayed, and labelled correctly with the right pricing.
? Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving items and provide promotional or clearance sale recommendations.
6. Reporting & Strategic Suggestions
? Prepare periodic reports on store operations, staff performance, and sales for management.
? Analyse arising issues (e.g., declining sales, staff shortages, customer complaints) and propose practical solutions.
? Provide input for marketing or promotional strategies (e.g., "Happy Hour Sale," bundle promotions, or weekend discounts).
7. Monitoring Company Policy Compliance
? Ensure staff adhere to the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
? Ensure all transactions and financial dealings are conducted transparently and properly recorded.
? Ensure employees comply with company regulations (e.g., no phone use during work, maintaining workplace hygiene, etc.).
