Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in cash handling and / or customer service preferred.

- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Speak & Written Mandarin and spoken & written English

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Summary:

He or She is responsible for efficiently and accurately handling customer transactions at the cash register. This position plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service by processing payments, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized cashier station. He or she must also collaborate with other front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

1. *Customer Service:*

- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.

- Answer customer questions about menu items, pricing, and promotions.

- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate to a manager when necessary.

- Handle daily online reservation and Facebook messanger enquiries.

- Handles membership and customer loyalty program including points redemption

- Work with marketing team and offsite work maybe required.

2. *Payment Processing:*

- Accurately place customer orders using the POS system.

- Accept cash, credit card, and ewallet payments.

- Provide customers with receipts and correct change.

- Ensure all transactions are processed swiftly and accurately.

3. *Cash Handling:*

- Safely handle cash and follow cash handling procedures.

- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.

- Report any discrepancies or shortages to the Restaurant Manager.

4. *Order Accuracy:*

- Verify that customer orders are correct before processing payments.

5. *Cleanliness and Organization:*

- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.

- Restock supplies such as receipt paper, napkins, and utensils as needed.

- Keep the area free of clutter and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.

6. *Team Collaboration:*

- Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure a smooth flow of orders and customer service.

- Assist with bussing tables or other front-of-house tasks during busy periods.

7. *Compliance:*

- Adhere to all restaurant policies, including hygiene, dress code, and safety guidelines.

- Stay up-to-date with menu changes and promotions.

Manfaat

Basic range from RM 2,600 to 3,200 Basic + Sales Incentive + Meal Allowance.

Working Location: The Garden and Sunway Pyramid.

Working hour: 9 hours including 1 hour break (Follow mall operation hour), 5 days with rotational offday.
