What\'s the job Great restaurant memories come from many places. The sights, sounds, scents and, importantly, service. As a Room Service Supervisor, you\'ll supervise all aspects the hotel\'s room service function. Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures. Your day-to-day People To have a close working relationship with all stakeholders, restaurant managers and guests. Recommend and/or Initiate disciplinary or other staffing/human resources-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies Conduct effective shift briefings ensuring all staff are aware of VIPs, special occasions, daily specials; emphasis on up-selling certain products; etc. Financial Assist in controlling and analysing quality levels of products and service, guest satisfaction, merchandising and marketing, operating costs and sanitation. Assist with the compilation of new menus and beverage lists. Handle festive reservations as well as seasonal promotions reservations and billing, including the sending of pro-forma invoices. Actively provide feedback on products and what can be implemented to achieve the budget. Guest Experience Organize and coordinate all F&B Marketing and promotional events like appreciation events for the departments Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival. Respond appropriately to guest complaints Maintain the guest database for the hotel\'s F&B special events Respond to all guest\'s enquiries in regards to the Food and Beverage department and its operations Responsible Business Oversee the Implementation of standards as detailed in the departmental standards and procedures manual Actively check all menus and collaterals and other sales products to ensure we are OBSM compliant. Schedule employees to ensure proper shift coverage. Assist in communicating and enforcing policies and procedures. Attend and contribute to daily and weekly Food & Beverage departmental meetings. Share recommendations and guest comments to Chef\'s and Food and Beverage Manager to reflect current customer profile What we need from you 4 years related experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Diploma in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or related field Literate - you\'ll need a good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths Compliant - as well as meeting local laws on food handling and serving alcohol, you\'ll be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language Flexible - night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job Articulate - a great communicator, you\'ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
