Great that you\'re thinking about a career with BSI! About the role We have key positions available for this role as a Program Lead - RSPO to build a strong team of professionals at a country level. Purpose of this position: To lead scheme operations and compliances for the RSPO scheme To lead corporate client relationship and provide technical support to ensure holistic scheme compliance. To ensure scheme operations optimization and excellence. To maintaining relationship with other related schemes owners and accreditation bodies. To conduct technical review and certification decision for RSPO certifications. To conduct annual scheme audits where required. To conduct RSPO Principles & Criteria and RSPO Supply Chain Certification Standard audits from time to time To overarching responsibility for the scheme/program integrity including assessor deployment. To provide ongoing support for training and competency of assessors, sales teams, technical reviewers and planners related to the scheme requirements. To liaise with BSI teams on scheme/program and scheme manual interpretation and application. To provide SPO technical support to all RSPO operating offices within BSI Group To promote BSI product offering and solution to clients with the view of improving their business performance and managing risks Applicants will be part of a dynamic team of specialist involved to conduct report monitoring and reviewing for RSPO audit reports and making certification decisions. Key responsibilities in this role will be to: Conduct technical/certification review and decision for RSPO scheme Assist operations and technical and compliance to maintain accreditation and certification processes Ensure compliance of scheme requirements throughout the business and countries within BSI Group are aware of the updates and revisions of requirements, regulatory framework and assessment and certification practices Review changes of BSI operations and/or accreditation and revise respective procedure s and documentation to ensure accreditation requirements are met. Manage non-conformities raised by Accreditation Bodies Determine the needs and conducting of witness assessment on all RSPO assessors Determine the needs of training of all BSI RSPO assessors Monitor and maintain records of all RSPO assessors\' compliances to the RSPO requirements and BSI\'s operating procedures Actively engage with RSPO coordinators, Customer Service Officer (CSO)/Planner and other countries Program Managers for any planning, scheduling, report monitoring and reviewing and calibration meetings Assist at country level Internal Audit and Management Review arrangements Maintain overall account responsibility and accountability for nominated accounts to ensure an effective partnership, whilst ensuring excellent service delivery and account growth. Provide accurate and prompt information to support services, working closely with them to ensure that client records are up to date and complete and that all other internal information requirements are met. Coach colleagues as appropriate especially where those members are inexperienced assessors or unfamiliar with clients\' business/technology and assist in the induction and coaching of new colleagues as requested Plan/schedule workloads to make best use of own time and maximize revenue-earning activity. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail. You must be self-motivated and can remain calm whilst managing numerous priorities. Good IT and systems skills are essential. You will also be required to have: professional education or training to an equivalent level of university education level in related in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Social Sciences, Plantation Management, Engineering, Technology, Agriculture or similar field preferred or have a further education diploma with proven in related discipline Experience in working in full time practical workplace experience in relevant management systems (i.e. sustainability, quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, plantation, palm oil mill, ecology, agriculture or environmental conservations (Min experience of 3 years in industry) Exiting qualified Lead Auditor/Auditor for any related 3rd party or industry requirements would be an added advantage. Experience in conducting and delivering assessment on schemes such as RSPO P&C and SCC would be preferred Proven knowledge of how a business operates to ensure appropriate interpretation of management system standards Demonstrate thorough technical knowledge to be able to interpret the language of the Client organisation Learning ability to keep up with changes to business, industry, management thinking and developing assessment styles Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills, as well as energy, passion and commitment This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team at the heart of our R SPO scheme which directly contributes to the success of our business.
