Job Description

Our client primarily centers its activities on communication, customer experience, commerce, and technology. They are looking for a RTR Japanese Speaking Talent.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain precision and timeliness in processing general ledger entries, fixed assets transactions, banking transactions, and the preparation of financial and management reports. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and support local statutory and tax (both direct and indirect) compliance, adhering to company policies, procedures, local accounting standards, and requirements.
• Collaborate closely with company Operating Units (OpCo) Finance to comprehend current activities and ensure their accurate reflection in financial statements.
• Work in conjunction with OpCo to address aged balance sheet items.
• Regularly monitor and resolve identified outstanding issues, escalating them to relevant parties when necessary.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLA) and meet monthly performance and productivity KPIs.
• Take ownership of all applicable internal controls related to Record to Report (RTR) processes.
• Proactively collaborate with team lead/manager to identify, propose, and implement continuous process improvement opportunities within existing processes.
• Actively participate in continuous process improvement projects and initiatives.
• Contribute to ad hoc activities or projects as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field, and/or professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA etc.).
• Minimum 1 - 2 years relevant experience in accounting function for Analyst role / open for fresh graduate.
• Prior experience in Audit and tax is an added advantage.
• Exposure to MNC working environment and Consolidated Group Accounts will be added advantage.
• Experience in using ERP system.
• Able to read, write and speak Japanese Language.
