Assist senior quantity surveyors in preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Support the procurement process by preparing tender documents and reviewing bids.
Measure and assess work on-site, preparing accurate and up-to-date quantities for billing and progress payments.
Provide cost advice and assist in cost control and budget management for ongoing projects.
Assist with contract administration, including reviewing and advising on contract terms, variations, and claims.
Prepare and maintain project cost reports, ensuring financial records are updated regularly.
Support the project team in all aspects of project planning, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure work is completed to specification.
Work with other departments to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Participate in training and development sessions to build professional skills and knowledge.
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work well within a team and independently.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Detail-oriented and precise with strong organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
