Job Description

Job Summary
Take customer\xe2\x80\x99s orders, serve food and beverages, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments. Additional duties include escorting customers to tables, serving customers seated at counters, setting up and clearing tables, or operating a cash register.

Job Responsibilities
1. Greeting customer, taking orders and serving customers with their respective dishes.
2. Accept and process payment.
3. Setting tables, cleaning tables and dining area.
4. Know the complete menu by heart and should know what the special dish of the dish is.
5. Know the way the dish is prepared so can tell the customers.
6. Take beverage and food orders.
7. Deliver beverages and food in a timely manner.
8. Check-in with guests to ensure that everything is going well.
9. Clear dirty dishes from table.
10. Refill beverages throughout the meal.
11. Deliver guest\xe2\x80\x99s bill and thank them for dining at the restaurant.
12. Clean tables and/or counters after patrons have finished dining.
13. Work with other servers and be a team player.
14. Removing the empty plates and the silverware, once the customers are done with the food.
15. Bringing the bill to the customers when they demand for it.
16. Maintaining a good image and dressing well so that it reflects well on the restaurant.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements
1. Basic knowledge of menu.
2. Waiters and waitresses must be on their feet for long periods of time.
3. Professional and friendly (Even in tough situations).
4. Team player.
5. Effective communication skills with guests and staff.
6. Quick thinking.
7. Ability to lift heavy trays filled with glassware/food.
8. Good verbal communication skills.
9. Politeness while speaking to the customers.
