A professional at this position level must have the following responsibilities:
1. Shaping
Assist in developing and reviewing HSE procedures, risk assessments, etc. in alignment with HSEMS.
2. Servicing
Facilitate and participate as a trainer for internal HSE trainings for ICT Division.
Manage internal and external HSE trainings for ICT Division (ILSAS, NIOSH, etc.).
Facilitate HSE programmers and activities in ICT Division (SHC committees, safety day, fire drill, etc.).
Conduct inspection of premises / works to identify issues or non-conformities for ICT Division projects and operations in Peninsular Malaysia.
Manage and follow through HSEMS audit programmes.
Gather information, analyse, and prepare reports on safety and health statistics, incidents, initiatives, etc. for ICT Division Top Management, HSE Department, and related statutory bodies.
3. Safeguarding
Facilitate incident investigations to determine root cause(s) and proposed corrective actions.
Liaise with various departments, other divisions, statutory bodies, and local authorities (DOSH, Fire and Rescue Department, DOE, ST, Police, Majlis Daerah, JBA, etc.).
Note: Focus on office-related work (data management, training management, report preparation, PPE procurement, new initiatives, etc.) and safety inspections within Klang Valley.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Heath, or related fields.
Minimum one (1) year site experience in projects and/or operations including safety and health.
Good understanding of Malaysian HSE rules and regulations (OSHA, CIDB, EQA, etc.)
Advantage
Familiar with HSE management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.) and TNB HSE requirements.
Holder of recognised HSE competencies (Safety & Health Officer, Site Safety Supervisor, CePSWaM, etc.).
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and online dashboards for data processing and reporting.

Good communication skills with the ability to present HSE requirements and audit findings to technical and non-technical audience.
Detail-oriented with a high sense of responsibility and integrity.

Ability to work under pressure and priorities HSE-critical issues.
Lifelong learner: willing to learn, unlearn and relearn in staying updated on skills, emerging technologies, and HSE standards.
