Job Responsibilities

Demonstrate an understanding of OSH regulations and applicable industry environmental and safety standards. Assist Safety, Health & Environmental Manager to collect, analyze and maintain statistics on accidents, occupational poisonings and diseases, which occurred at the plant. Assist in managing emergency response team and its facilities in accordance with the regulations. Conduct workplace inspection and able to work with respective area owners to come out with solution to solve the unsafe act or unsafe conditions observed. Conduct incident investigation and generate incident report with minimal guidance Assist in managing the safety and health committee and ensure the committee is active. Assist in any safety & environmental programs and its execution Maintain safety records as required. To conduct training and provide guidelines to the workers on safety related matters. Able to participate/lead/ drive any committees.

Job Qualification

Minimum, must hold a Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical/Environment/Chemical engineering / Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in safety and environment or related experience. Experience working in manufacturing practices and processes environment related to people safety Must be able to work well in a team environment but also have the ability to work independently. Preference for food, food-related or consumer package goods experience Has experience in conducting training in previous work place. Has experience in safety and health committee and emergency response team.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
