Role Overview

The Manager of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations within construction and quarry operations. This role involves leading risk assessments, promoting HSE awareness, driving internal and external audits, and ensuring the highest safety standards across all sites. The position reports directly to the Director and requires frequent travel across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and implement

HIRARC

processes with strong technical knowledge in high-risk activities (Work at Height, LOTO, lifting, heavy machinery/equipment). Promote and cultivate

HSE awareness and commitment

across the company. Lead

internal audits

and ensure readiness for external audits. Conduct

incident investigations

including root cause analysis and develop corrective & preventive action plans. Perform

incident trend analysis

and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions. Organize and chair

HSE committee meetings

on a regular basis. Plan, implement, and coordinate

SHE training programs

for staff. Ensure all

legal registrations and certifications

remain valid and compliant with regulations.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in

Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)

or equivalent qualification. Valid

Green Book holder (DOSH registered)

is mandatory. Minimum

3-5 years' leadership experience

in SHE management, preferably in construction or quarry industry. Strong knowledge of

ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001

. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to engage with all levels of staff. Willingness to

travel frequently

to project and quarry sites across Malaysia.
