Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with DOE regulations and company environmental policies. Manage and monitor environmental performance (air emission, wastewater, scheduled waste, noise, chemical management). Prepare and submit environmental reports (DOE quarterly reports, EIA, scheduled waste reports, etc.). Conduct environmental risk assessments and support ISO 14001 environmental management system implementation. Liaise with local authorities (DOE, MBPP, etc.) for inspections, reporting, and licensing matters. Drive initiatives in waste minimization, energy conservation, and sustainability projects. Conduct environmental awareness programs and training for employees. Support emergency response plan related to environmental incidents or chemical spills.

Requirements:

Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, or equivalent. Knowledge of Environmental Quality Act and DOE reporting requirements. Minimum 2-5 years' experience in environmental management in manufacturing or similar industry. Experience in ISO 14001 system implementation is an advantage. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Pay: RM3,100.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
