This role involves ensuring compliance with local regulations, company standards, and best practices while maintaining a safe and secure workplace.If you are looking for a career change, view the full job description below and apply now!Responsibilities

• Ensures site is compliance with all requirements of regulatory authorities and submits all required reports to appropriate agencies on time
• Ensures that site is compliant with allnex SHE standards and assists in development of any gap closures and follow up
• Develops, reviews and revises as necessary all Site SHE related procedures, environmental aspect, hazard identification, risk assessment and implementation of effective control measures in partnership with Site Manager & department leaders.
• Acts as primary site contact for emergency response plan including spills, fire and injuries
• Investigates SHE incidents and near misses. Develops and follows through on corrective and preventive actions
• Follow up plant environmental waste/gas emission regarding to EIA, country laws and international standard
• Communicates and follows up with government agencies, external organizations, and authorities relating to SHE matters
• Maintains SHE management systems and applicable external SHE related certifications
• Leads and coordinates security activities on site
• Creates a culture focused on SHE and builds awareness throughout the site plans, manages, and conducts SHE training
• Ensures that SHE Standard implementation is effective and conformed with Process Safety Management (PSM), ISO14001 and ISO45001 at all time
• Develop and maintain internal collaboration with Global SHE support team
• Supervises and develops subordinates to improve work skill and sets target to be achieved and evaluates Performance

Required skills and experience

• 5-7 years of experience in a SHE role, within the chemical /petrochemical manufacturing industry.
• Strong commitment to SHE system (SHEMS, ISO14001, ISO45001, Process Safety Management) and SHE improvement.
• Knowledge and familiar within SHE local and international laws and standards.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing SHE programs.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Safety/ Environmental/ Occupational Health or Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• SHO certification is an added advantage.
