JOB DESCRIPTION - Assist to implement and maintain the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) Management System to ensure that it is in compliance with relevant statutory requirements at all times, including the international standards, local regulations, code of practices and legal requirements - Assist to ensure the effective implementation of procedures and processes is in conformance to ISO 14001/9001 and OHSAS 18001 standards - Continuously promote awareness of client requirements as well as ESH practices throughout the Company and ensure that it is observed and adhered by the Company and relevant parties at all times - Provide sound advice and guidance to the project team to support the effective operations of the ESH Management System - Assist to continuously improve the ESH Management System by coordinating and / or conduction regular internal audits, awareness briefings, trainings and induction programme - Assist the Person-In-Charge to comply with the Project ESH Management Plan - Conduct regular inspections, accident / incident investigations, hazard identifications, risk assessments, risk control measures and follow-ups on the Job Safety Analysis - Efficiently and effectively monitor and update Register of Corrective Action Request (CAR) on regular basis - Prepare and submit accurate reports on ESH statistics and records to Penson-In-Charge and Head of Department on a timely basis - Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure that any ESH matter is attended to and resolved promptly and prudently - Responsible for the upkeep of documentation of the relevant ESH documents and data Requirements: - Masters / Degree / Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science or equivalent / relevant disciplines - Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in safety supervision and implementation in building construction industry and proven track record of completing project with quality achievement in safety - Registered competent Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with the Occupational Safety & Health Department (DOSH) \xe2\x80\x93 must have a valid GREEN BOOK -Those with a valid yellow book could be consider as Safety Site Supervisor (SSS) - Registered competent Safety Site Supervisor (SSS) with the Occupational Safety & Health Department (DOSH) \xe2\x80\x93 must have a valid YELLOW BOOK - Knowledge in property and construction terminology, high-rise construction, security and environment management - Worked in ISO requirements or equivalent environment - Knowledge in ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 - Computer literate in industry related software such as MS Project / Word / Excel - Able to communicate well in English & Bahasa Malaysia \xe2\x80\x93 both verbal and written - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Willing to work long hours when required - Willing to work on Sunday, Public Holiday, if needed - Willing to travel and be stationed at any job site when needed - Health condition MUST be good
