Safety & Health Officer Manager Wanted! (Mandarin Speaker) - Tampoi, Johor.

Job Responsibilities:

Establish, implement, and continuously improve the company's

EHS management system

. Formulate, review, and execute

safety management policies, procedures, and SOPs

in compliance with the

Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994

and related regulations. Manage and maintain all

safety, environmental, and sanitation equipment

to ensure proper function. Conduct regular

workplace inspections

, identify potential hazards, and implement

corrective and preventive actions

effectively. Lead and conduct

in-house safety and health training programs

for all employees to enhance awareness and competency. Investigate and document all

workplace accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning, and diseases

, maintaining accurate statistics and reports for DOSH reference. Inspect, maintain, and service

fire alarm systems and firefighting equipment

to comply with

BOMBA standards

. Conduct

Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Risk Control (HIRARC)?safety committee meetings

, and

internal safety audits

. Develop and implement

improvement plans

in environmental health and safety performance areas. Ensure full

compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations

and promote a culture of proactive safety management across all departments.
Job requirements:

Diploma or higher education level in any relevant field.

Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience

in a similar role; experience in a

foreign-owned manufacturing company

will be an added advantage.

Certified competent Safety & Health Officer (SHO)

registered with

DOSH Malaysia (Green Book holder)

.

Strong knowledge

of

OSHA 1994

,

Factories and Machinery Act (FMA)

, and other relevant Malaysian safety regulations.

Proficient in Mandarin, Malay, and English

(both written and spoken). We are seeking candidates

proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients*.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,700.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
