Job Description

• Work closely with respective vendors to ensure all environment, health and safety regulations are in compliance.
• Investigate accidents and recommend remedial measures to prevent future occurrence.
• Organize, promote and coordinate safety activities and programs.
• Plan and organize safety training of courses for fire fighters, first aiders and safety committee.
• Plan and organize plant wide safety and health programs.
• Organize regular fire drills to familiarize employees on escape routes during emergencies and ensure readiness of Emergency Respond Teams.
• Act as Secretary to the Safety committee
• Conduct regular safety inspections of the factory and recommend action required to relevant department.
• Ensure regular during construction and renovation eg. Contractor safe practises and hot work permit are complied.
• Ensure compliance to safety requirements specified in Uniform Building By-Law (UBBL), OSHA, Environmental Quality
• To adequately train and discipline the action of Kamaya Electric (KM) employees to minimize accidents and incidents in the company premises.
• To ensure all safety and health rules are complied by employees.
• Report all accidents, incidents and hazard condition to their immediate superior
• To coordinate safety committee and emergency respond team activities.
• Monitor and control the usage of all hazardous substances or chemicals used in the company.
• Ensure all hazardous substances are kept and disposed accordingly.
• Ensure all environmental, health and safety equipments in working condition.
• Monitor all safety hazards are within the permissible level specified in the statutory requirements.
• To ensure compliance to Kamaya Electric (KM) environmental, health and safety policy
