Implement and monitor the overall safety and security strategy and policy for PPB Properties assets and projects to ensure compliance with the local legislation.
Manage, coordinate, and organize safety, health, and security awareness, training, and development program for the PPB Properties.
Assist on day-to-day safety and security operations and support other assets when needed.
Assist with the safety & security improvement project tender and implementation.
Liaise with government and safety & health-related bodies such as DOSH, BOMBA and Police, etc.
Assist and ensure the emergency and crisis management (team, procedure, equipment, etc) at all assets are ready all times, and the drills are conducted on a yearly basis.
Carry out safety & security gap analysis through inspection or audit and ensure the identified risk is communicated and close.
Carry out incident investigation and incident analysis to prevent reoccurrence.
Any other task assigned by the superior as and when necessary.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Minimum Diploma / Degree in Occupational Safety & Health/ Engineering or any technical degree or similar qualification related to safety & security.
Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience primarily in safety and security and exposure to building operations, project management, audit, and training.
Preferably in property development, building management with a significant scale of size.
Knowledge of local laws and regulations on safety and security related.
Knowledge of the Private Security Act 1971-KDN and ability to handle in-house and outsourced security operations for the asset.
Computer Literate
Good interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships at all levels.
Proactive, independent, team player, organized, working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a multi-tasking environment.
