Oversee day-to-day security operations within the shopping center. Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols. Conduct regular security patrols to identify and address potential risks. Develop and implement crisis management and emergency response plans. Coordinate with local authorities, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders during emergencies. Conduct regular drills and training sessions for the security team to ensure preparedness. Utilize CCTV systems and other security technologies to monitor the shopping center premises. Maintain accurate records of security-related activities. Manage access control systems and ensure the security of entry points. Issue and monitor access cards for coworkers, tenants, and authorized personnel. Review and approve permit to work, including hot work permits, impairment permits, working at height permits, and other safety and security permits. Collaborate with internal departments, tenants, and external partners to enhance overall safety and security. Foster positive relationships with law enforcement agencies and emergency services. Provide ongoing training to the security team on relevant security procedures and protocols. Conduct regular performance evaluations for security personnel. Conduct investigations into security breaches, thefts, or other incidents, and liaise with law enforcement agencies as necessary. Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and training activities, and prepare reports for management review. Assist in conducting internal safety and security audits and firefighting equipment testing. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in any related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in safety and security management, preferably in a retail or shopping centre environment. Certification in security management or a related field is an advantage. Strong knowledge of security technologies and surveillance systems. Excellent crisis management and problem-solving skills. Risk assessment and accident prevention skills, knowledge of firefighting skills. Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security and safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
