Job Description

Standard Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and enforce compliance with hotel safety, health, and security policies, as well as local regulations and statutory requirements. Carry out regular inspections of hotel premises, facilities, and equipment to identify potential hazards and ensure safe working conditions. Develop, implement, and oversee emergency response plans, fire drills, and evacuation procedures. Ensure availability and readiness of firefighting and first-aid equipment. Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for staff on workplace safety and emergency procedures. Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents; prepare reports with corrective and preventive action plans. Perform regular risk assessments and recommend measures to minimize hazards and improve workplace safety. Liaise with local authorities, fire department, and regulatory bodies for inspections, audits, and certifications. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, permits, and compliance reports. Monitor safety standards to protect both hotel guests and employees, ensuring a safe environment at all times. Recommend improvements in safety practices, procedures, and equipment to enhance overall hotel safety standards.
