INDUSTRY : FREIGHT FORWARDING Job responsibilities

  • Responsible for sourcing cost rates and service negotiation with suppliers/carriers.
  • Responsible in quoting for overseas agents especially bidding/project enquiries.
  • Prepare and deliver the flyers on the services biweekly.
  • Responsible to communicate with overseas agents promptly. / Responsible to initiate calls with overseas agents promptly.
  • Participate in the conference meetings on behalf of the company.
  • Support sales team to develop strong client relationship and account retention.
  • Assist in new sales leading to secure the business.
Job requirements
  • Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in any related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Candidate with experience in freight forwarding/logistics/shipping industry is preferred.
  • Good negotiation skills, understandable and relate to people at all levels.
  • Able to manage time and response quickly to a given task.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills to deal with people in various levels.
  • Organized and possess strong analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and motivation skills.
