Role Overview:



The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving ICT solution sales by building strong customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and delivering tailored hardware, software, networking, and managed service solutions. The role involves managing the full sales cycle--from prospecting and proposal preparation to tender participation and deal closure--while ensuring accurate CRM updates, achieving sales targets, and coordinating with technical and support teams to deliver customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and manage strong relationships with existing and new customers across various industries in Malaysia. Identify, pursue, and close ICT solution sales opportunities including hardware, software, networking, and managed services. Understand customer requirements and propose suitable ICT solutions that align with their business goals. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, solution proposals, and quotations tailored to client needs. Collaborate with technical/pre-sales teams to ensure successful design and delivery of proposed solutions. Participate in tender, RFP, and quotation processes, ensuring timely and complete documentation submission. Update CRM systems with accurate records of leads, opportunities, activities, and customer information. Achieve sales targets and KPIs as set by management. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities. Provide after-sales support in coordination with support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.

Requirements:



Diploma or Degree in ICT, Business, Marketing, or any related field. Minimum 2 years of working experience in ICT sales, preferably in B2B or system integrator environment. Solid understanding of ICT products and solutions including networking, cloud services, software licensing, and infrastructure. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment. Ability to manage multiple sales cycles and accounts simultaneously, with attention to detail and follow-up. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and familiar with AI systems. Able to prepare professional sales documents such as proposals, quotations, and tender submissions. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage to liaise with China-based manufacturers and suppliers.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
