Sales And Marketing Director Pharma/medtech

Job Description


As a Sales and Marketing Director, you will be responsible for the Company\'s brand recognition and financial growth in Malaysia. You will coordinate with senior leadership team in regional HQ to review current market trends. You will be responsible to hire and form a local sales and marketing team to introduce product footprints and market expansion strategies.

  • Develop effective marketing campaigns from start to finish and refine campaign messaging for a wide range of pharmaceutical products and medical devices.
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans to achieve marketing objectives, including brand planning and strategy development.
  • Responsible for developing short-term and long-term sales marketing strategy to meet the company goal and objective.
  • Attend meeting to discuss sales plans for product portfolio in line with the agreed marketing plan with other departments.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of promotion and advertising programs and suggesting improvements
  • Research and analyse market trends and competitors and convert the raw data into detailed reports and actionable insights.
  • Evaluate and assess the strengths and weaknesses of competitive products and develop comparative statistics and metrics.
  • Prepare annual expense budget report and propose adjustment of the budget implementation.
  • Develop business relationship with existing and new customers to identify potential opportunities within the key territories for sales optimization.
Country leadership role with full P&L and people management position|Be a part of the pioneer team to establish strong Pharma foothold in SEA
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Marketing or Health Sciences.
  • Successful track record in setting up new business and expansion plans within the Pharma/MedTech industry
  • Experiences in ophthalmology, dermatology and oncology therapeutic areas are essential
  • Strong networking and relationships with local KOLs and medical society
  • Familiarity with latest trends and best practices in the Pharma/MedTech field
  • Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting using CRM software (i.e., Salesforce)
