Job Description


A sales and marketing manager who is able to lead the sales team, develop and execute his/ her brand plan to achieve business outcomes and sales revenues.

  • Develop, evaluate and execute sales and marketing, sales plan based on market potential
  • Build effective relationships with HCPs in private and government hospitals (eye specialists)
  • Demonstrate and share product information, presentation and influence KOLs and surgeons to increase brand and product awareness
  • Plan effectively and develop brand plan and marketing strategies for your own sales team
  • Achieve assigned sales targets by implementing agreed sales plans/promotions.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for company products.
  • Create stakeholder management plans for KOLs and deliver Continuous Medical Education (CME) and product training to drive product adoption and market share gain
  • Direct, lead and coach team members (medical sales representative) by monitoring their performance, relationships with KOLs, outcomes and expectations in their career development plans

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales manager experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably niche and specialty care portfolios
  • Soft skills: Possess leadership, networking, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Education: Preferably Tertiary qualifications in Science- related. Alternatively, extensive pharma sales experience can be considered.
  • Travel requirements: Maintenance of a valid driver\'s license
