As we grow our footprint in Malaysia, we are looking for an energetic, hands-on leader to spearhead our sales and business development efforts, secure strategic alliances, and expand our reach in both B2B and B2C markets.
Primary Responsibilities:
Developing and Executing Sales Plans:
Formulate and roll out effective sales initiatives using insights from market research and industry trends.
Establish sales targets, forecast outcomes, and continuously adjust strategies based on analytical feedback.
Driving Business Expansion:
Identify and cultivate opportunities across both B2B and B2C channels, including direct sales, partnerships, dealer networks, and distributor relationships.
Managing Key Customer Accounts:
Build and maintain robust relationships with major clients, dealers, and distribution partners to ensure outstanding service and long-term loyalty.
Providing Technical Expertise:
Deliver knowledgeable guidance on automotive coatings and their application.
Collaborate with the R&D team to tailor product offerings based on customer feedback and market demands.
Conducting Market Analysis:
Keep a close watch on industry dynamics, competitor strategies, and technological advancements to refine our approach.
Utilize gathered market intelligence to bolster our competitive edge in the automotive care field.
Monitoring Sales and Reporting:
Regularly track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and share actionable insights with senior leadership.
Suggest strategic adjustments to ensure sales objectives are achieved.
Supporting Marketing Initiatives:
Assist in creating and implementing focused marketing tactics that drive customer engagement and support sales efforts through both offline and online channels.
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales or business development, ideally within the automotive care or a similar aftermarket industry.
A demonstrated record of effectively handling both B2B and B2C channels.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to decipher market trends and performance data.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication capabilities.
A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the capacity to work autonomously and lead initiatives end-to-end.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; an MBA is advantageous.
A sound understanding of automotive coatings and application processes is highly desirable.
