Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive the performance of the Rest of Asia commercial (including sales, applications, service and sales support) teams in the region to achieve sales growth and margin targets as well as KPIs.
  • Ensure that the various teams are appropriately trained and resourced to support the business and manage, develop and motivate the teams to drive engagement.
  • Maintain engagement and develop the team by setting goals, regularly reviewing progress towards these goals, identifying training needs, monitoring performance, and engaging and retaining talent.
  • Ensure the sales team maintain customer CRM (C4C) to ensure accurate forecasting of business wins and production volumes.
  • Lead the regional sales teams and ensure they are researching, analyzing, and negotiating selling prices to maximize sales and maintain healthy profit margins using approved DOA processes.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales and account plans for assigned Key Accounts that expand the company\xe2\x80\x99s customer base and solidify its presence and establish productive and professional relationships with key executives in TOP customer accounts.
  • Identify opportunities by keeping track of market, customer, and competitor activity.
  • Use industry knowledge to identify potential new customers and markets to increase market share.
  • Review sales reports and ensure that the data collected is utilized effectively to provide detailed, accurate monthly reports and revenue forecasts to support materials and production capacity planning.
  • Oversee sales campaigns including exhibitions, events, e-commerce, webinar etc. in association with the Global Marketing Manager.
  • Provide regular reports of field sales success and communicate the Voice of the Customer (VOC) to the rest of the leadership team.
  • Understand Customer Satisfaction as measured through Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback and drive the organization to meet the customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs whilst balancing organizational needs.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree required. Electronics/Mechanical/Technical major preferred
  • 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a sales / key account management role or an applicable customer facing role.
  • 5+ years prior sales leadership experience in a related field is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Fluency in English and Chinese or other major language in SEA, Japan, and Korea preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills including expertise in spreadsheets, presentations and databases, as well as CRM/Sales Software (e.g. C4C)
  • Excellent analytical and reporting capability and the ability to understand data to drive appropriate decisions
  • Time management and organizational skills, including prioritisation and delegation
  • Flexibility and ability to accept feedback and input from other departments
  • Ability to manage budgets
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Planning and forecasting skills
  • Ability to communicate, inspire and motivate
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Ability to identify, recruit and hire talented teams
  • Ability to lead, coach, develop Account Plans and drive winning teams
  • Multi-cultural leadership experience
