GENERAL FUNCTION

  • esponsible for promoting and selling Chemical products / solutions / services to relevant customers demonstrating technical knowledge of the products/services and their market.
  • Responsible for the full sales cycle from understanding market drivers, enforcing sales strategy developing and new accounts & maintaining existing accounts, preparing sales value proposition, meeting customers, promoting Veolia chemical solutions, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, preparing quotation, negotiation and closing, in accordance with sales KPI
  • Veolia Water technologies sales portfolio includes : Projects, Installed Based services, Techno Product/MEP, Digitalization, SCREEN service, Hydrex Chemicals, O&M Service contract, and water treatment consumable & Spare parts
Technical

Wastewater Treatment
  • familiar with different type of WWTP and purpose for each unit of treatment
  • familiar & experience with Jar Test, Jar Test preparation, sample & chemical dilution
  • familiar & experience with coagulation, flocculation and sludge dewatering system for chemical selection and application
  • understand and manage to propose chemical treatment program based on Jar Test report & results
  • manage to differentiate between organic and non organic coagulant
  • manage to differentiate between anionic, cationic & non ionic flocculant
  • understand the pH requirement for ss removal, heavy metal & fluoride removal.
  • experienced in preparation proposals for cost saving and profit sharing for total operating cost in WWTP for chemical consumption.
  • manage to analyze and comment on water analysis and advise improvement.
Water Treatment Plant
  • Familiar with Water Treatment Plant process and purpose of each unit of treatment
  • familiar & experienced in RO antiscalant, function, selection & application
  • familiar & experienced in chemical for RO pre-treatment chemical to improve SDI reading and their application
  • familiar with the chemical for RO CIP for both organic & inorganic scaling.
  • manage to analyze and comment on water analysis and advise improvement.
Cooling & Chilled Water Treatment
  • Understand & familiar type of Cooling Tower, Chiller & Heat Exchanger and their operation
  • Understand open loop and closed loop of cooling water system
  • familiar and experienced with Cooling & Chilled water treatment
  • familiar & experienced in handling corrosion, scaling & fouling in Cooling Tower & Chiller
  • familiar & experienced in chemical selection for corrosion & scaling inhibitor, oxidizing & non-oxidizing biocide.
  • familiar & experienced in handling corrosion coupon, legionella test, CT blowdown, flushing
  • manage to analyze and comment on water analysis and advise improvement.
  • understand quality of make-up water & cooling water
  • understand important of Cycle of Concentration for cooling water
  • understand and manage to propose chemical treatment program for both open loop and closed loop system
Boiler Water Treatment
  • Understand & familiar type of Boiler & Boiler operation
  • familiar and experienced with boiler water treatment
  • familiar & experienced in handling corrosion, scaling in boiler
  • familiar & experienced in chemical selection for corrosion & scaling inhibitor, oxygen scavenger
  • familiar & experienced in handling boiler blowdown, and chemical treatment before & after DOSH inspection
  • manage to analyze and comment on water analysis and advise improvement.
  • understand quality of boiler feed water & boiler water
  • understand important of Cycle of Concentration for boiler water
  • understand and manage to propose a chemical treatment program for boilers.
  • Familiar with all chemical suppliers, market price, packaging, concentration for each chemical in WWT, WT, CWT, BWT.
  • Understand key points or important statements in chemical TDS & MSDS when advising internal & external parties.
  • Understand and familiar with the chemical demand of each industrial market.
  • Able to advise other sales/business development engineers on all chemical enquiries.
Sales
  • To achieve sales targets and other duties as defined by the management.
  • To maintain and grow sales volume to existing customers by attending customer queries and identifying additional needs and developing appropriate sales strategies to meet their needs.
  • To create new leads through cold calling, networking with different stakeholders to attract new clients
  • To use marketing support to analyze market sub-segments, geographical clusters, monitor customers and competitors activities in the market
  • Manage customer accounts payable and ensure on- time collection.
  • Continuously improve current working knowledge of existing and new products and services.
  • To submit monthly sales analysis, forecast report
  • To Ensure Salesforce CRM program is updated
  • To analyze sales activities to identify key market drivers
  • To make sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income
Qualifications

Education
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering
Others (License/Certificates)
  • Car driving license
EXPERIENCE EXPECTED
  • 3 year(s) of experience in water industries related Chemical Sales
