Our client is a highly-regarded global design and development solutions provider for complex civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering. Committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation and fostering a culture of growth and excellence, they seek a Sabahan Sales Engineer to focus on the Sabah region.

Focus: Drive growth in our construction solutions business by building solid relationships with existing clients and acquiring new clients across local authorities, consultants, contractors, trading companies, and developers.

Key Performance Outcomes:

• Demonstrate expertise: Deeply understand our construction solutions, providing technical guidance to clients, conducting presentations, and crafting compelling proposals.
• Drive sales cycle: Proactively source leads and manage quotations, proposals, and orders from initiation to successful closure (including collection).
• Strengthen customer relationships: Foster strong client networks, establish credit lines, and proactively address installation or site questions.
• Market intelligence: Research and analyze competitor information and industry trends to inform strategic business decisions.

Qualifications:

• Technical Foundation: Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or Construction Management. Working background in related fields.
• Proven Sales Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful sales track record in the construction or building materials industry.
• Communication Excellence: Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional language/dialect skills are a vital asset.
• Self-driven, Team Player: A highly motivated individual who thrives independently and as part of a collaborative team.
