Job Description

• Responsible for all sales and marketing activities in Northern Malaysia.
• Establish new and maintain existing relationships with key customers & support sales activities for current and new projects.
• Make cold calls to set up meeting appointment with potential customers.
• Prepare customer order, compile customer purchase order, quotation & follow up financial status.
• Liaise with customer to determine their business needs and solution.
• Travel within Malaysia and sometimes overseas to provide support where required.
• Prepare weekly and monthly schedules, sales reports & activities reports.
• Creating technical and commercial proposals to customers.
• Participating and supporting various marketing initiatives such as exhibitions and seminars.
• Providing reports on forecast, market intelligence and competition.
• To meet the territory sales goals and objectives.
• To achieve and exceed target in all product divisions & territories assigned.
• To ensure profitability within the given territory.
• Ensure the company achieves its customer satisfaction objectives at all times.
• Maintenance and update of opportunities in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years sales experience in engineering field, preferably within metrology.
• Experienced in making technical presentations to customers.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with customers.
• Dynamic and result oriented personality with good business acumen.
• Highly customer oriented personality.
• Additional language communication ability is an added advantage.
