: Sales Engineer

Location: Penang

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our client. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for understanding client needs, providing technical expertise, and delivering tailored solutions that highlight the value of the products. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Engagement and Technical Consultation:

• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, serving as the main technical point of contact.
• Understand client requirements and challenges, and offer informed solutions using the products.
• Provide expert guidance to clients on how the products can address their unique needs.

2. Solution Development and Presentation:

• Analyze client needs to develop customized solutions that leverage product offerings.
• Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase products\' capabilities.
• Collaborate with the product development team to communicate customer feedback and contribute to product improvement strategies.

3. Sales and Negotiation:

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and market research.
• Create persuasive sales proposals and presentations that demonstrate the value proposition of products.
• Engage in negotiation discussions to secure contracts and agreements with clients.

4. Project Coordination and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project implementation and successful delivery.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to clients, addressing any concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related field (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial).
• Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably within a relevant industry.
• Strong technical acumen and ability to comprehend complex technical concepts.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective client interaction and internal collaboration.
• Problem-solving aptitude to analyze client needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Ability to work independently and contribute within a fast-paced team environment.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite.
• Availability for occasional travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
