Job Description

1. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS To assist in Company business grow and to achieve the level of sales turnover and profitability according to annual budget. To support sales & marketing function by develop market segments in the central & east coast region, to secure and optimize sales volume, collection, and profitability. Strictly adhere to the company procedures and complied with ISO requirements. 2. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES a) To ensure that the predetermined sales, gross profitability, and growth objectives of the Market Segment & Territories are achieved or exceeded. b) To monitor the performance versus the objectives on a regular basis and to recommend and implement corrective actions on any negative variations thereof. c) To work closely with other colleagues / managers towards achieving the best benefits for the Company. d) To ensure the availability of stocks and to closely gear the stock position to the actual needs of the market and financial objectives of the company. e) To recommend and update new products in the market and evaluate the potential for future marketing. f) To ensure efficient control and collection of trade debts from the customers according to the agreed credit facilities. g) To ensure a high level of market penetration and coverage, and adequate level of customer service, technical service, and after-sales service. h) To provide regular feedback on the general market conditions, trends, and competitors moves in the assigned regions. i) To plan, implement and monitor all sales and marketing activities for new market segments and/or territory as assigned by the General Manager - Sales. j) To update firsthand information to direct report on all matters directly or indirectly related to specification, sales and marketing and the organization. k) To update and prepare weekly sales reports and material forecast on a timely basis. l) To perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by General Manager - Sales. 3. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Minimum STPM, Diploma / Degree Holder or equivalent in Sales & Marketing with Civil / Chemical Engineering / Building Science knowledge or background with good English speaking and Computer Microsoft knowledge and skills. Field sales experience: at least 3 years in building and construction chemical material products are added advantage and willing to travel within Malaysia for business purposes. Demonstrable sound business judgement and the ability to lead in a \xe2\x80\x9cteamwork\xe2\x80\x9d environment are essential.

In 201, Denka Chemicals Holdings Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (\xe2\x80\x9cDCHA\xe2\x80\x9d) with its regional headquarter in Singapore, acquired 100% stake in the holding company of ESTOP and renamed the holding company as Denka Infrastructure Malaysia Sdn Bhd (\xe2\x80\x9cDISB\xe2\x80\x9d) and ESTOP was renamed as Denka Construction Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd (\xe2\x80\x9cDCSM\xe2\x80\x9d). In anticipation of rapid growth in infrastructure and civil engineering projects within the ASEAN region and Asia at large, DCSM shall continue to invest in R&D to be forefront of of construction chemicals technologies.
