Administration
\xc2\xb7 Ensures that an efficient and accurate filing system, both manually as well as electronically is maintained at all times.
\xc2\xb7 Maintains complete and supported records of all Sales Agreements, Contracts and Quotations for the hotel.
\xc2\xb7 Establishes an efficient trace File to ensure that all business booked is properly tracked.
\xc2\xb7 Assists in consolidating and preparing Sales report.
Customer Service
\xc2\xb7 Entertains and conducts hotel inspections to clients whenever required.
\xc2\xb7 Establishes and maintains strong relationship with the established clientele.
\xc2\xb7 Liaises and works closely with the related operation departments ensuring guest\'s requests and expectations are being met.
\xc2\xb7 Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems. If no immediate solution can be found, to ensure that the necessary follow-up is conducted in a timely manner.
\xc2\xb7 Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
Marketing
\xc2\xb7 Assists to conduct extensive competitor research and maintains excellent Product Knowledge of the Hotel.
\xc2\xb7 Be aware of community, business, political and social factors that may affect the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s financial performance.
Operational
\xc2\xb7 Carefully plans Sales Calls into defined objectives.
\xc2\xb7 Maintains a detailed knowledge of hotel facilities, features and services.
\xc2\xb7 Follows up sales leads to identify prospect.
\xc2\xb7 Ensures a high level of exposure for hotel through direct sales solicitation of telephone contact and written communications.
\xc2\xb7 Professionally conducts routine telemarketing activities to identify new accounts.
\xc2\xb7 Entertains and conducts hotel inspections to clients whenever required.
\xc2\xb7 Establishes and maintains strong relationship with the established clientele and constantly explores into new business opportunities.
\xc2\xb7 Achieves the monthly and annual group target and the segment target room night production and room revenue.
\xc2\xb7 Liaises and works closely with the related operation departments ensuring guests requests and expectation are being met.
\xc2\xb7 Prepares and ensures all Events Orders are distributed to concerned department on a timely manner.
\xc2\xb7 Assists the Sales Managers to follow up on all matters in the absence of the Sales Manager.
Personnel
\xc2\xb7 Supports the implementation of The People Brand, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Culture Characteristics.
\xc2\xb7 Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.
\xc2\xb7 Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel team and Hyatt International.
\xc2\xb7 Maintains strong, professional relationship with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organisations, especially travel agencies, local business groups and airlines.
\xc2\xb7 Reads the hotel\'s Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel\'s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health and safety.
\xc2\xb7 Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
\xc2\xb7 Responds to changes in the Sales and Marketing function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
Other Duties
\xc2\xb7 Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.
\xc2\xb7 Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
\xc2\xb7 Understand and agree that the hotel management reserves the right to add or remove clauses to these job descriptions.
