(Sales Executive)
Segment (Corporate and Govt Agencies)
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating business for the hotel by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting the hotel's services and facilities. Aggressively source and develop new business opportunities in assigned market segments. The role involves both proactive and reactive sales strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development
o Execute sales action plans outlined in the hotel's sales strategy.
o Identify and target potential clients through cold call, networking, and market research.
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned and other key accounts.
o Conduct daily sales visits, initiate site inspections, and arrange familiarization trips for potential clients.
o Generate new business leads and convert them into confirmed bookings.
o Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
Client Management
o Handle client inquiries, provide quotations, and conduct follow-ups.
o Ensure excellent customer service before, during, and after client events or stays.
o Maintain up-to-date client records in database.
Revenue & Targets
o Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
o Promote upselling and cross-selling of hotel services
o Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
o Participate in sales meetings, pre/post-conference briefings, and contribute ideas for revenue and service improvement.
Coordination & Communication
o Coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Collaborate with operations, front office, and banquet teams to ensure client satisfaction.
o Represent the hotel at trade shows and networking events related to assigned markets, reporting market trends and insights.
o Assist with marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
