To support our business growth, RS is always interested in hearing from dynamic Sales professionals who are driven by high performance and are customer focused.
Responsibilities:
The key responsibility of an Account Manager is to drive sales for central KL till Seremban / central KL, Kuantan & Kuching.
This person will have 80-100 focus customers and responsibility for the total assigned. The candidate will manage SME, medium and large customers
This will work together with assigned internal sales within the territory.
Maintain accurate customer records, CRM data and sales reporting data to maximize potential from the customer base
To continually expand relevant technical knowledge and to develop an understanding of the RS product and service portfolio, their application in key areas and the benefits they provide to customers.
Support Marketing campaigns to drive activity and sales
This is home based role and just have meeting with the team once a week and face to face meeting with GM once a month
Working with other functional team members in APAC
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical, business admin, marketing
Min of 5 years of strong Sales /Business Development / Key Account Management / Customer Facing experience in Electronics, Industrial or distribution type of business or relevant with RS industry with proven track record of achievements
Strong communication skill or babble to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels of the business
Being independent, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. The candidate will need to strategies, plan and execute sales activities to meet and exceed the targets.
This is primarily an individual contributor role. Not required people management experience but people handling internally and externally
A good understanding of Microsoft Office and experience working in an SAP office environment would be an advantage.
Able to evidence value added selling, contract negotiation and contract compliance.
