The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships for the catering division. This role focuses on achieving sales targets through proactive prospecting, excellent customer service, and effective coordination with the operations team to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify, pursue, and secure new catering business opportunities in corporate, social, and private event markets.
Prepare and deliver customized proposals, quotations, and contracts to potential clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
Attend networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote catering services.
Client Servicing
Conduct client meetings to understand event requirements.
Provide professional advice on menu selection, event setup, and logistics.
Follow up with clients before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
Handle client inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining a high standard of communication.
Coordination & Administration
Work closely with kitchen, banquet, and operations teams to ensure smooth event delivery.
Coordinate booking details, event orders, and client preferences with internal departments.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and client databases.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales within the F&B or hospitality industry (catering experience preferred).
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Possess own transport and willing to travel for client meetings or site visits.
