- Researching market opportunities, competitors, and leads (e.g., via trade databases).
- Prospecting leads via calls, emails, or social media (e.g., LinkedIn).
- Building partnerships/JVs (joint ventures) and pitching to C-suite executives.
- Conducting product demos, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Upselling/cross-selling to existing customers.
- Developing go-to-market strategies and leading pilot projects.
- Tracking ROI on initiatives and forecasting revenue pipelines.
- Networking at events like MIHAS (Malaysia International Halal Showcase).
Job Requirement:
- Diploma/Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and resilience (handling rejections).
- Basic digital literacy (MS Office, Google Workspace); Mandarin a plus for diverse clients.
- High-level negotiation and presentation skills.
- Understanding of B2B sales cycles (often longer and complex).
