Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or equivalent / higher Over 3 - 4 years of relevant sales experience Exposure with covering combination of Government / Corp MICE Sales , i.e. preferably someone from hospitality industry

Job Scope & General Purpose of Job:

Recruit, manage, coach & develop sales & telemarketing staff to achieve the set sales targets by the Company. To plan, strategize and implement all sales strategies in a timely and effective manner. To focus on achieving high level of profitability, growth, retention, professionalism, integrity, ethical standards and customer satisfaction. To maintain a minimum of 1 (one) Sales Team with minimum 8 (eight) sales staff (subject to be revised from time to time at the discretion of the Company). Responsible for recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees. Maintain sales staff job results by counselling and disciplining employee, planning, monitoring and appraising job results To participate in sales exhibitions/road shows as and when required. To monitor daily sales activities and sales contact through sales reports to ensure effective accomplishment of marketing objectives & sales target. To conduct weekly meetings and monthly sales review with team members and furnish reports on progress against plans as well as appropriate action plans to superiors. To ensure that consistent quality service to customers, effective communication, effective strategies, appropriate action plans and necessary training are provided as well as shared among team members.

Key Responsibilities/Major Tasks:

1. Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.

2. Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel management team.

3. Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.

4. Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.

5. Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
