Manage and grow accounts across various market segments, with a strong focus on
wholesale, travel trade, and travel agency partners
, including both domestic and international accounts.
Handle group bookings and other assigned segments by implementing effective sales strategies and maximizing business opportunities in your designated area of responsibility.
Execute all sales action plans related to assigned market segments and geographical areas as outlined in the annual marketing and sales plan.
Actively contribute to achieving departmental revenue targets and support the fulfillment of the overall marketing budget.
Identify and pursue up-selling opportunities to drive incremental revenue across rooms, events, and other hotel services.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities (e.g., room rates, key accounts, production) and provide regular updates to the Director of Sales.
Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure alignment in client relationship management and business development goals.
Personally meet and welcome top key accounts, group organizers, and VIP guests upon check-in to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
Conduct thorough hotel site inspections for walk-ins, group prospects, and contracted clients, and ensure timely follow-up to secure future bookings.
Maintain a strong presence for the hotel in major feeder markets through direct sales calls, client meetings, telephone follow-ups, and written correspondence.
Develop and grow business volume through increased room nights and revenue from all potential sources.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role within an international or well-established local hotel group.
Proven experience handling
wholesale, travel trade, and travel agency segments
is required.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, results-driven, and highly motivated to meet and exceed sales goals.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
In-depth knowledge of the local market and capable of analyzing market trends and business opportunities.
Excellent organizational, presentation, and follow-up skills.
