Position : Sales Manager

Location : Kuching, Malaysia

Role Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for building a strong sales team in executing various sales strategies and execution to achieving company objective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading team to achieve company financial objective abiding to corporate guidance
  • Implement sales strategies with the support from marketing organization
  • Analyze customers and product opportunities to optimize business impact and resource allocation
  • Coach and develop team members in creating a high performing organization
  • Monitor sales representative business activities, customer engagement, sales operations etc
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree required. MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred. Management and/or Account Management experience strongly recommended.
  • 5-7 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical with in-depth industry experience
  • Proficient in local language required, fluency in English recommended.
  • Demonstrates creativity and judgment in delivering innovative new approaches and solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Has experience in analyzing complex new situations, anticipates potential problems & future needs, and assesses opportunity impacts and risks.
  • Able to articulate a differentiated value proposition to the customer.
  • Team-oriented style and manner to work collaboratively and effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrates strong business consulting skills including: Problem solving, Negotiation, Influence, Facilitation, Listening, and Project Management.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
  • Ability in building and leading high-performance team
  • Acts decisively in complex and fast-moving environment
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, financial analysis and forecasting skills
  • Excellent sense of Teamwork/Collaboration
Organizational Relationships:
  • Reports to the National Sales Manager
  • Works in close collaboration with Marketing, Key accounts, Sales Force effectiveness team in building a strong and sustainable business in Viatris.
