About the Sales Manager Role: You are expected to be a self-starter and able to work at a fast pace in a very dynamic business environment and must be able to handle multiple tasks across different market segments and see them through completion. Key Responsibilities:
Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
Develop new markets and customers while maintaining key customers
Provide accurate forecasting of sales opportunities from a scope, timing and revenue perspective
Identify and develop new business opportunities and success retention of existing customers
Be responsible for new market penetration to build networking locally and internationally
Conduct sales presentations and negotiate with customers on quotations
Prepare and manage bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales forecast for review by the management
Ensure all customer inquiries and complaints are handled promptly and ability to handle difficult customers professionally
Manage other activities assigned by the management from time to time
To succeed in this Sales Manager job, you must be highly motivated with hunter instincts to develop each potential prospect into business opportunity. Key Requirements:
Diploma or degree in mechanical/engineering or equivalent
Minimum of five years of work experience in sales, preferably in relevant industries \xe2\x80\x93 semiconductor, solar, automation
Track record in driving innovation strategy is a plus
Ability to analyse critically and strategic thinking
Enjoys working in a team environment
Good communication and negotiation skills
