Job Description


  • A bachelor\'s degree in biology/molecular/science or a related field (Posgraduate degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and RM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Ability to travel at least 20% of the time

  • Motivational speaking experience
  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, manage, and motivate the sales team.
  • Set clear sales goals and targets for the team.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to help team members improve their sales skills.
Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve company sales objectives.
  • Identify new markets, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to stay ahead in the market.
Sales Planning:
  • Develop and implement sales plans and budgets.
  • Set sales quotas and individual sales targets for team members.
  • Allocate resources effectively and monitor sales performance.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and complaints.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Sales Forecasting:
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to make accurate sales forecasts.
  • Adjust sales strategies based on market changes and feedback.
Product Knowledge:
  • Stay up to date on the company\'s products or services and understand their features and benefits.
  • Train the sales team to effectively communicate product knowledge to customers.
Reporting:
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitors.
  • Present reports to senior management and provide recommendations.
Budget Management:
  • Manage the sales department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to maximize return on investment.
Sales Tools and Technology:
  • Utilize sales management software, RM systems, and other tools to track and manage sales activities.
  • Ensure the team is trained to use these tools effectively.
Compliance:
  • Ensure the sales team adheres to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor and enforce ethical business practices.
