Achieve pre-set targets and budgets for the allocated sales areas and territories.
Promote and generate leads for the hotel's products and services.
Ensure thorough and regular coverage of assigned sales territories to maximize productivity and market penetration.
Recommend strategies to the Director of Sales for maintaining and increasing business volume, including advertising, sales promotions, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special sales projects, employee training, and guest relations.
Establish and maintain comprehensive files on major accounts, ensuring an organized and efficient filing system.
Conduct all external relations professionally to enhance and uphold the hotel's image and reputation.
Regularly update competitor information regarding rates, facilities, promotional activities, and staff movements, and report findings in weekly meetings/reports to the General Manager. Reports should include business analysis, sales call summaries, competitor feedback, and recommendations to improve staff performance and boost hotel business.
Organize entertainment and client engagement activities to nurture key accounts and sustain strong business relationships.
Represent the hotel at major industry events such as Trade Shows, Marketing Association Meetings, Embassy Receptions, and Government Department events to improve sales and build valuable networks.
Participate in selected trade shows and conduct overseas or outstation sales trips as required to expand business opportunities.
Organize and accompany property tours for supportive and potential accounts to showcase hotel facilities and services.
Engage with in-house guests and conduct post-meeting evaluations to ensure satisfaction and identify potential sales opportunities.
Maintain effective and collaborative working relationships within the sales team and across all hotel departments.
Assist in facilitating payment of outstanding client accounts while maintaining positive client relationships.
Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by management.
