, you'll take the lead in driving room and revenue growth across all market segments. Working remotely, you'll manage your own portfolio, connect with clients, and promote the hotel's offerings through proactive sales calls, online meetings, and strategic partnerships.
You'll be the key person who bridges the hotel and the market, creating opportunities, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring consistent business flow for both short-term and long-term revenue growth.
What You'll Do
Business Development:
Identify, approach, and secure new business from corporate clients, government agencies, event organizers, and travel agents.
Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular follow-ups, relationship-building, and value-driven solutions.
Account Management:
Negotiate room rates, contracts, and group packages that align with the hotel's business goals.
Monitor client satisfaction, gather feedback, and ensure repeat business.
Sales Strategy:
Develop sales plans for each segment -- including promotions, rate structures, and seasonal campaigns.
Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and rate positioning to ensure competitiveness.
Coordination:
Work closely with the hotel's Reservations, Revenue, and Front Office teams to ensure smooth handling of group bookings and corporate stays.
Provide updates to management on sales progress, potential leads, and market opportunities.
Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports, including pipeline updates and conversion tracking.
Forecast room nights and revenue for each segment.
Who We're Looking For
Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality Management.
Minimum 4-5 years of hotel sales experience covering multiple segments (Corporate, Gov, MICE, TA).
Strong existing client network, preferably within Klang Valley and government sectors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and online communication tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
Willing to travel occasionally to meet clients or represent the hotel at trade events.

Achievement of monthly and yearly room night and revenue targets.
Expansion of client base across all segments.
Strong brand visibility and repeat business from key accounts.
Consistent communication and collaboration with the hotel team despite remote setup.
