Cardiac surgery represents end-state treatment in the care continuum for many cardiovascular diseases. There are approximately 1.8 million cardiac surgical procedures in the world on an annual basis. Cardiac surgery remains extremely important in treating complex disease and remains the gold standard on which many of the other therapies being developed in Cardiovascular are based upon. A Day in the Life Reporting to Sr Sales Supervisor, the Sales Representative for promoting, selling, and servicing products within the Cardiac Surgery business area and representing the company in accordance with its policies and in the area assigned. The role will cover generally in Klang Valley and Southern part region (Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Malacca) but will involve occasional outstation support as needed. Key Responsibilities Promotes and sells Medtronic\'s surgical products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals. Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic\'s products and/or services. Promotes and establishes education of the company\'s products and/or services. Conducts market research including customers and competitors\' activities. Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed. Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing. Conducts on-site education and/or consulting Must Have Bachelor\'s Degree required Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and working knowledge of company products and services Your Profile Completed Bachelor\'s degree qualifications 5 years or above of previous clinical/sales experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical industry Must have an active driver\'s license Must have good sales acumen, strategic thinking, active and outgoing personality, flexible and team-oriented Passionate in serving healthcare customers, driven and self-motivated to be successful in this role Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay languages We Offer In our 5th Tenet of our Mission, we recognize the personal worth of employees by providing an employment framework that allows personal satisfaction in work accomplished, security, advancement opportunity, and means to share in the company\'s success.
